The rules that
keep it honest

OutPull only works if the crowd's verdict is real. These are the rules the arena runs on — the same for a first-night challenger and a five-time champion.

01

One person, one pull

Each real person may cast exactly one valid pull per 24-hour battle. No account is required, because requiring one would quietly favour products whose audience is already logged in somewhere.

A pull is a vote for one of the two products in the arena. You cannot split it, take it back, or spend it twice.

02

Money buys the challenge, never the victory

The challenger auction decides who gets to stand in the arena tomorrow. That is the only thing money decides.

Once a battle starts, the bid amount is irrelevant. A $1,250 challenger and a $50 challenger arrive on exactly the same rope, and the crowd settles it.

03

What counts as a valid pull

Every pull passes through multi-layer abuse checks before it is added to the visible total. Pulls that fail those checks are held out of the count and flagged for review.

  • Every pull passes a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge, which filters out bots, scripts and headless browsers
  • One pull per battle is enforced by a voter key held on your own device, backed by a database constraint — a second attempt is refused outright, not quietly dropped
  • Sharing an internet connection does not cost you your vote: an office, a campus or a household can each pull separately
  • Pulls arriving after 20:00 UTC are not counted, no matter when they were started
04

What gets a product removed

Rallying your audience is the whole point — that is not cheating, it is the game. Manufacturing an audience is.

  • Buying votes, renting traffic, or paying anyone per pull
  • Bot networks, click farms, or automation of any kind
  • Misrepresenting what the product is or who owns it
  • Offering a reward in exchange for a specific pull
05

No immediate rematches

If a champion beats a challenger, that same challenger cannot come straight back the following night. The champion has to face at least one different opponent first.

It keeps the arena from turning into a two-product grudge match funded by whoever has the deeper pockets.

06

One product per founder at a time

A founder may have only one product active in the queue or the arena at any moment, and may never challenge their own champion with a second product they own.

You can register as many products as you like. They just have to take their turn.

07

Ties, timing and the clock

All competition timing runs on UTC server authority, not on your device clock. The battle closes at 20:00 UTC and the auction locks at 19:00 UTC.

If the pulls are exactly tied when the clock hits zero, the reigning champion keeps the crown. A challenger has to genuinely out-pull the champion to take the arena.

08

Transparency

Pull counts, bid amounts and standings are public while a battle is live. Outbound clicks to a competing product are routed transparently and marked as sponsored.

If a pull is rejected, the totals shown on the page reflect that immediately — the visible number is always the count that decides the battle.

09

Disputes

If you believe a battle was affected by abuse, contact us within 48 hours of it closing with whatever evidence you have. We review the underlying pull data, not the argument.

Outcomes we can reach: the result stands, the result is voided and re-run, or a product is removed from the arena. We publish which of those happened.
